Mustang Wrestlers Are Big Sioux Conference Champions  Print

Congratulations goes out to the Tri-Valley wrestlers in bringing home the title of Big Sioux Conference Champions for the first time in twenty years.  The Mustangs came away with six individual champions, two second places, one third, and one fourth.  Congratulations Mustang Wrestlers!

Band Frozen Food Fundraiser  Print

The Tri-Valley Band is doing their annual frozen food fundraiser today through  February 2nd.  The items will be delivered on March 3rd and will be available for pick up between 8 and 9:30.  Contact Mrs. Harstad with any questions.

Middle School Student-Directed Conferences Sign-Up Print

Middle School Conferences will have a different format than what you may be accustomed to.  The teachers are each going to be assigned a number of students and parents will meet with that teacher for 10-15 minutes to discuss your son/daughter's progress.  Parents should complete the scheduling form and return it to school by February 3rd so the teachers can finalize the schedule.

Disappointed in your Internet Service Speeds at Home? Print

This is your chance to do something about it.   The state of SD is gathering data on what type of connection speeds are available to our residents.  Patrons of our school district are encouraged to visit this site and run a speed test to help the state improve the quality of Internet service that is provided.

Booster Club Tailgate  Print

Let the Booster Club do the cooking on Friday night (January 27th).  They are serving pork loin sandwiches, chips, bars, and a pop for $5 in the Commons from 5 to 8 pm during the Elk-Point Jefferson double header basketball game. Additional sandwiches will be available for a dollar.

Financial Aid Information Night Print

All high school seniors and their parents are invited to attend Financial Aid Information Night on January 26th at 7 pm in the high school library.  Come and learn how to apply for Federal Financial Aid for college.  Please contact Mrs. Booze with any questions you may have.

Winter Semi-Formal Dance Print

There will be a Semi-Formal dance open to all students in grades 9-12 on Saturday, February 4th from 9pm to midnight in the Commons.  All students will be required to wear semi-formal attire (no jeans, t-shirts, or sweats will be allowed).

District 3B Wrestling Tournament  Print

Saturday, February 11th, Flandreau will host the District 3B Wrestling Tournament in their elementary gym.  The doors will open at 10 am, Round 1 will open at 11 am, and Round 2 will begin 20 minutes after the first round.  Finals will start 20 minutes after the 2nd round of wrestle backs.  (Remember there needs to be 45 minutes of rest for each wrestler between matches.)  Admission prices are $7 for adults and $4 for students.

Freshmen Parent Orientation Print

Orientation for parents of incoming freshman for the 2012-2013 school year will be held from 7 to 8 pm in the elementary gym.  Parents should make plans to attend to learn about the changing graduation requirements and how they will affect your son/daughter.

Kindergarten Registration  Print

Tri-Valley will be hosting Kindergarten Registration on Thursday, March 29th at 7 pm in the High School Commons.  If you have a child who will be 5 years old, on or before September 1, 2012, please plan to attend.  This will be an informational meeting open only to parents.  Please bring a certified copy of your child's birth certificate and a copy of their social security card.  Updated copies of their immunizations will also need to be turned into the school prior to the first day of the 2012-2013 school year. Parents attending Kindergarten Registration will also be allowed to sign up for Kindergarten Screening which will be held on Friday, April 13th.
